Apparently the trend towards General Managers is moving into mens basketball.
UNC is hiring Jim Tanner, a longtime NBA Agent to be the GM. It does not sound like he will stop being an agent and owner of Tandem Sports and Entertainment which would seem like a major conflict of interest.

Beat them before but on the road in this one and done trying to predict whether Jekyll or Hyde will come out of the locker room. 🤔
Win essentially locks in a spot in ACCT.

The Ladies host Stanford tonight at 8 PM. Broadcast is on the ACC Network. Been playing golf for the last three days and heading to our daily wrap-up meeting in a few minutes. We should win.

Sweep??
Hokies have a chance to sweep the season series against the Wahoos today. Last time out they controlled about 37 minutes of the game but nearly blew a 13 point lead with three minutes remaining. UVA missed as time expired in a 75-74 final.
The Hokies had a clear advantage in the paint. Tobi Lawal had 17 points but did have foul troubles. Jaden Schutt had his best game of the season on both sides of the ball. Hokies went 1 for 8 at the line in the final minutes though, allowing UVA back into the game.

If you were to ask me when the Men's team started off 3-6 and the Women started conference play 0-2 that either team would be in the positions they are today, You'd be in your right to call me a damn liar.
Mike Young's team (6-7) sits 8th in the conference with 7 games remaining; 4 games back of the double-bye and 3.5 games above missing out on the tournament completely.

Ladies absolutely destroyed the BooHoos 87-62 without Rose available..
Four starters finished in double figures. Baker and Ekh had 17 each. Only knock on the team was the 16 turnovers but they forced 18 by UVA.

Putting this up early because tomorrow morning is busy. I won't get to watch most of the game; so I hope you guys can bring home a winner.
The Ladies travel to LOLUVA Sunday at Noon. The game will be on the ACC Network. The ESPN Predictor gives the Hokies 62% chance to win; but I think that assumes Micheaux will play. The VT website lists Petersen as the probable starter.
Virginia is 12-12, 4-8. They beat us in Blacksburg 73-68 on Jan 16 in a game we should have won. We picked a terrible time to have a really bad game. Since beating us, UVA is 1-6 in their last 7 games.

Thought this game was tomorrow but tipping off now on CW Network.
Notre Dame is overly reliant on starters to do 85% of scoring. They lose when they have foul trouble. They are 4-7 in ACC play and this is a game the Hokies should win.
Not a great shooting team and struggle to defend the paint. Focus should be to get Poteat and Lawal going early.
