Talked w/ a Clemson donor last night who falls into that first category. But he wasn't hoping Feaster lands at VT because of the rivalry at SC, he thinks that VT is just the better fit for him, will give him a better chance to showcase his abilities, etc....basically, what we've all been saying.

I tend to think the heart wins out more often than not in college recruiting situations.

For an 18 year old right out of high school, sure . But we're talking about an almost 22 year old soon to be college grad considering which program will give him the best opportunity to up his draft stock.

That was my first take, then thought...should we be in constant contact if it's the dead period?

Are we in the dead period now? I think maybe it means the dead period ended, and he still hasn't heard much from USCe, but I'm not sure
