Can't find the tweet now, but saw a similar question posed...someone replied that during his time ad co-OC at Penn St, there were zero rushes by WRs

I was with you up until the "REAL Hokies" comment, not gonna downvote though. It's a business decision for them, they've been striving their entire lives to reach that level of football...for some of them, they may be getting bad advice and jumping the gun, but that doesn't make them any less of Hokie. I'll be rooting for them to get drafted and have success just as I have rooted for anyone who has put on the O&M

Yeah, I thought he did a decent job this year, and I can't really hold 2020 too much against him considering he didn't have a spring to install his D. I know all teams dealt with covid that year, but all teams were not getting started with a first time DC

Of note:

Brent Pry to Virginia Tech: 94

Before becoming head coach at Virginia Tech, Pry led Penn State to a top-10 ranking in scoring defense, allowing opponents an average of just 16.75 points per game.

In hiring Pry, Va. Tech harkens back to the days when former Hokies defensive coordinator Bud Foster routinely produced one of the top defenses in the country under head coach Frank Beamer.

The Hokies have never won a national title, but they finished as a national finalist in 1999. The bar in Blacksburg is competing for ACC titles, and Pry should do more than that. In the next three years, he'll have the Hokies in line for possible selection to the College Football Playoff.

Emphasis mine

Is there a Home Alone 5? I only recognize the OG Home Alone and Home Alone 2 as legit Home Alone movies.

Watching it now, I'm hyped for Pry!

Seems like he looked back at the past 6 years of the program, and essentially said, "I'm going to do everything completely opposite from what that last guy did"

edit: aaugghh Pete Moris, wtf is he still doing there?

All good, it's not me. But there are a TON of examples from every game that indicate he is simply not an accurate passer

Ok, look up WVU, or Mid Tenn or UNC, missing open receivers all over the field all day. Inexcusable misthrows. Like I said, I give him credit, but he ain't the guy

Just a couple examples

No. Clips from the offseason showed us, before he took a single pop this season, how inaccurate he is.

Also, just rewatch the Richmond game, long before the season worth of abuse. He couldn't connect with open receivers all day

I remember those days, start off with 5, 6, 7 wins, top 10 ranking... start getting it our hopes up...then the D has a couple less than perfect games, shattering our hopes and dreams
