Preface: I'm not against a 2QB system..nor am I really for it. I don't know enough about football to have an opinion either way. I'm not trying to be snarky here with my question...I honestly want to know.

Has a team ever won a national championship while employing a 2QB system? (Too lazy to look it up. I also don't have a ton of time..trying to get my TKP fix in early before heading off to work)

Thanks :D

Well, I think he doesn't know if there is a starter until he has them all on campus in practice. Durkin seems bent on playing early or could be a potential transfer. I think Ford knows he has a chance and will bide his time if need be to become the best he can be. I think what these potential transfers means is that VT plans to not be in the position they've had in the past decade where there really was only 1 choice at QB. Not to say that those choices were the wrong ones but had we had this level of talent and number of options then the #1 rated TE would have stayed at TE and not be forced/asked to move to QB. Not saying that I didn't love Logan at QB or think that is where he should be, but just using as example.

Flacc has 1 ring and 1MVP.
9th overall QB rating in Superbowl.
More playoffs road wins than any other QB in NFL history. Took him only 4 years to do it.
More wins by a QB in their fist 80 starts.
Most touchdowns in a single post season. And he did it without an INT.
First QB to have a passer rating of over 100 in a single post season.
First rookie QB to win 2 post season games.
Most consecutive playoff games with at least 3 passing touchdowns.

Now, you may say, " ah, these stats are due to one year." Remember that one year they had a mediocre running game at best so, the offense relied on the air game. The offensive line wasn't very good.

He's been one of the best QBs in the NFL for 5 years. Last year sucked because he was down to 1 reliable target and the offensive line still sucked so, no running game at all.

IMO, Lefty is wanting to tutor his young guys so they are ready when the time comes. It also shows that the staff really does not have any faith in the current QB's on roster. Bringing in 4 QB's shows that we have some good backups but no one in his opinion is a starter.

I realize this isn't Feelingsball, but I would feel badly for Leal if this happened. He's played the good soldier for 4 years waiting for his shot.
