Joe would probably do bad things to me, but I would love to create r/tkpcirclejerk for the lulz
i love that comic...imgur is blocked at work, otherwise I would post it here...
productive is the word I am looking for
Also, it may not work if you're at work, but if you just google search "stream college football", you can usually find some links to stream anything from on any channel.
Yeah, it's just a way to validate their opinions and it creates a huge positive feedback loop. I do it, you do it, we all do it. It just so happens that the hot topic around here is the ACC blog. Not only that, but the internet kinda exacerbates the problem since it's easier for like minded people to gather.
Turkey leg VPI, your reaction made me laugh.
I hope not.
My mom has a newer one. They are cool. Fast too. Would def buy one again.
Agreed. Kinda disturbing.
aww man..you missed out on the redesign when they stole all the parts from Aston Martin. The new Fusions look pretty cool..

how does the pilot NOT see the giraffe? It's not like it jumped out of the woods...they're landing/taking off in a vast open space and that's a pretty big animal..hard not to see it
I'm really excited for how the spring competition goes between Leal, Motley, Hodges, and Ford.
We have Leal the RS - Senior that Loeffler said had a great fall camp. Then there's the 2 athletes in Motley and Hodges that can definitely help out the team at other positions (safety, TE respectively) if they don't show the ability to compete at QB. Lastly there's Andrew Ford who has been to a surprising amount of games this season traveling from Pennsylvania and is "Lefty's Guy" as far as being his recruit.
I'm assuming that Leal will start. I'm guessing that Ford will RS and possibly travel, well be interesting to see how he progresses in the spring.
gosh it really hurts having the ball for 40 min....and losing :(
French, my Man, I agree completely. I am jacked for this game. It is huge. This contest will either be our crossing of the Delaware, or our Waterloo. A win against this BC team sets us up nicely for Miami and portends great things. A loss this week, may be a morale breaker. Either way, this week, this game, will tell us what the team is made of and what to expect for the rest of the year. I have the wings, dip, and beer ready. I am digging in. Hammer down and Sam Rogers!

I guess it gives people a sense of self-righteousness. Maybe the people complaining about the self-righteous people are self-righteous themselves...then what about the people who complain about them...
so. freaking. meta.
My Ford is 5 yrs old and runs fantastic! #FUSION ;-)
I wholeheartedly agree...but strange things can happen

Something I don't understand about our community: We don't like E$ECSPN nor Mama Giraffe, yet we post threads here about her lack of good journalism and how she hates us.
If she's so bad, why read her work and give ESPN the clicks & pageviews in the 1st place? It just baffles me is all...
You're right, I could have sworn we won it by one.
I pegged you as a mustang type of person...
YES!
They also needed a #1 in an offense that was already great that likes to throw it around the yard
Here's some satire:
It's a good thing we're going to start this guy as a freshman because we all know FORDS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR FOUR YEARS
Yup. I said it.

For those of you thinking ODU is going to quickly rise to power and leap UVa as our in-state rival, I would offer the example of South Florida.
They started a program in 1997, joined FBS in 2001, and even rose as high as the #2 ranking in 2007. Many people reasoned that south Florida is a hotbed of high school football talent and South Florida didn't have the same admissions standards as their local BCS-level competitors (Florida, FSU, Miami, etc). How could their meteoric rise be stopped? Well, they lost 3 straight games, ended up finishing that season unranked, and never quite got over the hump under Jim Leavitt. He was let go after a player abuse scandal (though I'd guess many people around the program thought USF should have taken the next step and had plateaued under Leavitt), and South Florida has gotten significantly worse ever since.
Did any of those advantages- recruiting hot bed, lower admissions standards- change that drastically? Not really. It seems the most important factor in South Florida's success was coaching. So yeah, I think it's way too early to say ODU will experience some sort of meteoric rise up the FBS ranks due to similar advantages. If Mike London (or Lane Kiffin, Randy Shannon, Charlie Weis, Mike Locksley, etc) has proven anything, it's that recruiting alone can't make a great, or even mediocre, football team.
