It's an interesting debate, but I think in the eyes of the media we will get knocked down because we are in the ACC. They will try to get 1) SEC, 2) PAC-12/OSU in ahead of us.
I always want to take the side of pie in this argument because there are so many delicious pies, but the mighty cheese cake reigns supreme in my world! Thus I must side with cake.
I guess I just look at it as "what have you done for me lately" and I would say that losing at the beginning of the season and knocking off 2 top teams in the last 4 weeks of the season versus losing a game in the last 4 weeks. As you said, there's a lot still ahead of us. One game at a time.

But if Bama loses twice, it opens the door up. A one loss Bama is prob still ahead of us, unless its to one of the 3 FCS teams they typically schedule in November.

Yes, Red Velvet cake is rich chocolate cake with enough red food dye to change its color. Keep it away from your couch cushions because the red will not come out. The icing is whipped cream cheese with sugar.
I just don't see the pollsters putting in another rematch that isn't SEC if they have the option to avoid it. If we are a one loss and someone else like Oregon is there with a loss to Stanford, I think they go Oregon. Anything could happen, but we have A LOT of work in front of us before this is an issue.

I agree that we just need to worry about Duke, but why would Bama have to lose? It's not like they haven't had a rematch in the National Championship game before.
Of the teams in the top 10 right now, someone has to lose between Bama and LSU, Clemson/FSU, Miami/FSU, UCLA/Oregon, and A&M/LSU. A lot can happen.

Yea that was the part that took the longest. My daughter was stubborn as all hell and just wouldn't use it even though she knew how. Nothing teaches you patience more than mopping up pee while having a 2 year old cheer you on and tell you that "peepee goes in the potty". Thank God we are on the other side now for her. Unfortunately my 15 month old son is on the horizon...sigh.
