30 for 30: A Defense to Remember. "What if I told you, a defensive line was so dominant that QBs refused to play against it"
Sauer's - yes.
Pitt started each drive inside its 20yd line limiting its offensive options and VT started almost all its series beyond their 35 yard line.
^^^Such a frank beamer thing to do.
Plus it can't be easy to install with our DL always in the backfield.
Sweet, it sounds like Bud is going to be hosting a movie night on the Drillfield.
Aren't those the same things?
not sure, but Bud did send me an email asking for the links to the every snap videos. I sent them over and he said no that he meant the video where the defense snaps the neck of the opposing QBs.
Great to see non-football VT sports succeeding. Hopefully the campus is paying attention to the success! Go Hokies!

Hell yea! Go VT women's soccer!!!
Turkey leg for that!
That's a fair point. I guess I kind of see the Alabama game as an anomaly. The offense didn't make the plays it needed to stay in the game, but how many offenses could when the special teams gives up two TDs against the #1 team in the country? The wide receiver play was what I have to assume is a statistical outlier.
Computer Program?
That's what Graduate assistants are for...
I have a saying about software installation that always seems to be true: "The last 10% of the progress bar takes 90% of the time." I suspect that's at play here, too. The final details and getting things working efficiently will take the most time.
Breaking Bad - one of the best, if not THE best, TV series ever. There are so many twists, turns, and surprises - you'll enjoy every second.
Don't get me wrong, I really, really, really, want to beat Miami, but I would enjoy it if they finished ahead of us, but we got selected before them for a bowl.
1. Chicken (just covered in BBQ sauce)
2. Tomato sauce
3. Pie
4. Beer (I can do Bourbon but you gotta mix it in something)
5. West End (But D2 brunch is my favorite campus meal)
6. Non-Breakfast
7. Boudreaux's
8. Depends. For just a chill night, watching sports and hanging out, then Champs. If I'm trying to get trashed, TOTS.
I expect charts and graphs analyzing this data, just so you know.
Early press interview with Loeffler:
Were going install and were going install, install and install, he said at a Roanoke Valley Sports Club event Monday night at the Salem Civic Center. And after install, were going to install some more.

My prediction is we play the Gators in Chikfila Bowl
La Chaumiere
I tried to make a reservation at Filomena but they were full for the weekend.
I think we're going to Eastern Market on Saturday morning. That's quickly become my girlfriend's favorite place in DC. It's a great place to get some breakfast and just enjoy a nice Saturday morning outside.
I believe we would get an initial bump on pre-season rankings if our roster was loaded with 4 & 5 star recruits. While I think that VT is a strong regional contender, to make it over the hump to a national contender we will have to have a 'buzz' (for lack of a better word) going on pre-season and come in ranked in the upper half of the polls. It is hard to play for a national championship when you come in at the lower half of the polls (or unranked) and your schedule is so-so. Especially if the schedule is perceived as soft with only a couple of (lower) ranked opponents....
I say that understanding that the other school has 4 & 5 star athletes on their roster and still suck, but our coaches have proven that they can coach what comes into the program, so loading up with ranked personnel will help our pre-season rankings.
With out a doubt nobody that has any connections or money in the bowls will want to see or host another rematch of the Rutgers. I believe Virginia Tech's defense has bowls fighting for us. I can definitely see an A&M vs. VT bowl or even Georgia vs VT. Don't be surprised to see Miami get left out of a top tier bowl because VT travels better and has a better reputation. Its all about the #Cashflow!
Yeah but that ACCCG was pay back for the Matty Ice defeat earlier that season. I will never forget that game.
This Hokie team has the chance to be special. That said Duke and BC are both trap games, with neither being a pushover. VT has to show up for every game ... If we do I can see us bearing Miami and moving on. If we get the the ACCCG and win I think VT has to be in the conversation at that point. If we drop any games along the way we will be dishing out a savage beating to whatever 6 win creampuff they throw at us in some tee shirt bowl. This is revenge season lets win out and break clemsuck of fsu's hearts

I highly doubt that. They'd entertain the idea as talking points but they would definitely shy away from a rematch title game, even if it's two SEC schools again.
