Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

Miami is a Nooner

Saturday's game is a nooner on ESPN 2. I wish it were the late afternoon game... But oh well.

Being "The Guy Replacing 'The Guy'"

I took a look at the list of winningest FBS coaches and compared the top 5 who spent the majority of their time at one school and how their successors did. My criteria was, the coach in question must have ended his career in 2000 or later.

Here is a blind resume of the guys who followed.

Coach 1: 2 seasons, 62.5% winning percentage
Coach 2: 4 seasons, 56.63%
Coach 3: 1 season, 46.15%
Coach 4: 5 seasons, 61.67%
Coach 5: 8 seasons, 78.3%

Miami Week

This week sucked. This week is going to sit with us for a while and we're not going to look fondly on the coaching staff for the rest of this season. The present and future of this program doesn't look how we'd like it to but that doesn't change who we are. Everyone here is a god damn Hokie. While we sit on a loss that will take a long time to heal, it's Miami week, and we all want nothing more than to knock their heads off. So go Hokies, and fuck Miami.

What Now?

I was probably one of the last ones to believe that Fuente could build a great program here. But alas, I think the rest of us are convinced otherwise now. I am so sick of seeing us lose these kinds of games where we should have won by 15+. We come out so many games with SO LITTLE effort, energy, and will to win. That's a huge indictment on the coaching staff, if anything.

My question is, what now? Instead of just griping on a fan message board, why not get a group of us to contact the athletic department and demand some serious changes, starting at the top? Does anyone have some contact info or know who the best people are to contact for this?

Precedent for CFB HC Resigning?

Are there any examples out there of head coaches at schools resigning on their own due to performance? Maybe ones who recognize the school cant afford their buyout and they leave on their own?

Please don't burn down the site.

Hey all, I know. That sucked but try to keep it civil. None of the mods or myself want to have to make a bad day worse.

Teaser for the Louisville Film Review

1) Minus a handful of plays (two of which I think were assignment busts), this was far and away the best defensive performance this season.

2) Hamilton made two interesting adjustments with his linebackers and safeties, focused on maximizing the range of his three best athletes on defense- Deablo, Tisdale, and Conner.

3) RB beats the unblocked hat- it happened

4) Guess who stopped running verticals into deep shell! Whoo-hoo!

Join TKPC to read more when we go live with the review. And, thank you for letting me get one extra day in with my family at the beach.

OT: Paris Ford (Pitt) to Opt Out

Huge loss for Pitt as they just lost their fourth straight game and now their top player. Paris is a gamechanger. Before he was ejected for targeting versus us last year, he was flying around making all the plays.

PSN has learned that increasing COVID-19 infection rates in the area contributed to Ford's decision. Ford played in all seven games with the Panthers this season, making 41 tackles, three for a loss, three interceptions and defending one pass.
