All, I'm going to be in Spain for a couple of weeks in the beginning of November. How have you Hokies generally watched football games outside the U.S. in the past? I'm only going to be missing the BC game but since I'm a glutton for punishment and can't get too high on my vacation, I'll need to be taken down a peg or two about halfway through - that's where the game will come in.

This is the difference between us and the rest of the power conference teams. Saban is upset after after a 52-24 win. Also Hooker looked amazing against bama. Fuente and everyone needs to go. Including Jham. Our defense is atrocious. How does a CB not make the penalty on that play instead of giving up the catch for a td? Our players do not have any football instincts and lack a sense of defending our home turf. There is no pride in Hokie football at this point in time.
We're now through the first half of the season and, despite some potentially wildly inaccurate preseason predictions, there are still quite a few teams vying to represent their respective divisions in Charlotte.
Pittsburgh's beatdown of Virginia Tech continues to push discontent with Justin Fuente in Blacksburg. A name that's making more and more sense for the Hokies is Louisiana's Billy Napier. If he's a possibility, expect VT to make a move.
LSU and the newly fired Ed Orgeron are gonna be real, real nice to each other publicly, because the only other option is whatever the hell is about to happen in Knoxville https://t.co/Np34d8aivQ— Steven Godfrey (@38Godfrey) October 20, 2021
Justin Fuente is here speaking with reporters. He has some injury updates: Dean Ferguson (shoulder) and Devon Hunter (knee) are out for the season. #Hokies— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) October 18, 2021
big blow to a defense that has been putting in an admirable performance to try to keep us in games (and is quite frankly better than i expected it to be). Depth is now razor thin
With the end of the Fuente era seemingly (hopefully? thankfully?) on the horizon who would you want as our next head coach? In the past offseason I was a huge Tony Elliot guy but it looks like he may have been a product of Trevor Lawrence? Jeff Hafley has the defensive background that fits our history, comes from a big time program in OSU and has P5 Head Coach experience, no idea if he's reasonable though. How do we feel about Chadwell, Billy Napier, one of the Georgia coordinators? Genuinely curious how people are feeling about various candidates.
