So happy to be wrong here, especially with the way the whistles went this second half
Couldnt resist, Lady Hokies take down Liberty 81-66 .....figured we all needed a Liberty Fam thread where we can get it.

The Hokies have a replacement matchup after Temple had to pause because of COVID.
Anybody still up? The decision is in at 1:45 a.m.—Villanova is staying for another game in Bubbleville and will play Virginia Tech at 8 p.m. on Saturday night, source tells CBS Sports. Game is currently scheduled to be broadcast on ESPNews.— Matt Norlander (@MattNorlander) November 27, 2020
There may be basketball on Nov 28 even though the men are not playing Temple. The Ladies are currently scheduled to play Liberty at Cassell on Sat at 2PM. The game will be available on ACCNx, if you get that. The Hokies played a surprisingly close game(73-69) against Liberty last year, in which Liberty was the more physical team and the refs let them bang around underneath. After the game, I commented that Kitley needed to get stronger and work on holding onto the ball. Since she was ACC Freshman of the year, I think we can say she got better at banging with the bigs underneath; or more likely I just did not see her greatness.

Is that a Turkey or an Owl? Add that roasted Bulls to the menu Sunday as well.....
What other games are you looking forward to between now and Sunday?
Got to thinking about it when I saw Boston College is hanging tough with #3 Villanova. BC up 46-41, 4 minutes into the second half.
Remember when we were going to face Rhode Island in one of the early projected schedules? They lost a close one to #18 Arizona State today 94-88.
77-61
ALUMA goes big time with 19 points.
Here's to more scattered benches and ball washing
See you against Temple next

The Lady Hokies open the season as part of a doubleheader at Cassell on Nov 25. The men play Radford at noon; the Ladies play Richmond at 4PM. I think you can watch the game on ACCNx.
Year Two of CMYBall is just around the corner, and I thought it time to dust off this series from last year to get an idea where things stand as we enter the season.
Scoring
My end of the year assessment of only losing 0.18% of scoring took a bit of a hit when leading scorer from last season, Landers Nolley II, left after a single* season in Blacksburg. Also leaving was top 5 scorer "big man" PJ Horne, Isaiah Wilkins, and Jon Kabongo.
Just wanted to put this out early so people can plan around it. This game is at noon next Wednesday. I will be back to doing my opponent write up here, and will add that closer to game time. As much as our roster has turned over, Radford has seen as much or more then the Hokies.

NCAA announced today they are looking into holding the entire NCAA tournament in one city. Indianapolis appears to be the frontrunner right now. Indianapolis was already set to host the Final Four but now likely will find a way to host all 68 teams and distributing the games in and around the city. Going to be interesting if they can manage to do this. It could reduce costs dramatically to have everything centralized and could allow for a quasi-bubble environment with COVID as a consideration but limits the economic impact to just one location rather then 14.
Media member poll results for the ACC.
Thought I'd start the topic since we should see schedules soon.
The Stadium is reporting 11/25 vs Radford as VTs opening game
